Hockaday Students Bring Awareness to the Gendercide Issue
On May 24, 2013, the Gendercide Awareness Project hosted a mother-daughter baby-bootie-making party with students from the Hockaday School. These sophomores, now juniors, had just finished their final exams the day before and enjoyed a fun afternoon making baby booties. The photos speak for themselves; not only are these girls smart, hard working, and ambitious, but they're great crafters, too! Student Ariella S., featured in the video clip, is organizing a group of these young women to bring our message to the Hockaday School next year.
