YUVA, a Turkish affiliate of the German Adult Education Association International Outreach program, has an office in Hatay Province in southern Turkey, close to the Syrian border.

At YUVA’s Kirikhan Community Center, YUVA works to:

• empower the Syrian community and local people of the region through informal adult education
• provide psychosocial support for Syrian youth and women
• provide vocational training and income generating activities
• increase dialogue and solidarity between Syrian refugees and local people
