Jolly trains women to earn income by making handbags and backpacks. Proceeds from this business, called @WENDAfrica, are used to educate the women’s children. The Gendercide Awareness Project provides funds to educate additional girls, as they are less often selected for education.
A representative from the US Embassy (center) paid a visit to discuss a possible collaboration with Amazon. Next step – a visit from an Amazon team. We send cheers and good wishes for this ambitious project!
